Privacy Policy

This is a static website. We are in the privacy business's honest corner, so this policy is short and true.
What we collect
- Quiz answers: scored in your browser. When the quiz sends you to your result page, your five answers travel in that page's web address (for example
?a=stream.home.cheap.few.simple) so the page can show the right recommendation, which means they appear in our host's standard server logs like any other web address. We keep no separate record of them, they are not tied to your name or email, and we do not build a profile from them. - Contact form: if you write to us, the name, email address and message you type are held briefly by our edge worker and delivered to our own mailbox, then deleted from that store. We use them to answer you and nothing else.
- Outbound clicks: when you use a recommendation link (
/go), our edge worker logs the time, the page context, your country code and user-agent string, and sets a first-party cookie (svf_src, 180 days) recording which channel brought you to the site, so we know which of our content works. This log contains no name, email, or account identity. - Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and abuse prevention.
What we do not do
- No account system, and no advertising profile built from your quiz answers.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
- No third-party advertising trackers.
The price-drop alert list
Our results pages offer a price-drop alert list. If you enter your email address there, we store it with our email provider, Sequenzy (sequenzy.com), who host the list and send the emails on our behalf. We use the address for one thing: emailing you when a VPN price on this site actually changes, or when a renewal rate jumps. We do not sell or share the list, we do not add you to anything else, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. You can also ask us to delete your address at any time through our contact form. There is no automatic welcome email — the first thing we send you is a real price alert.
Affiliate links
When you continue to a VPN provider through our links, that provider's own privacy policy applies from that point, and the affiliate network (CJ Affiliate) may set cookies on the provider's domain to attribute the referral. Read the provider's policy before you buy — we mean that literally; it is the product.
